Meet Mady

Hi there! I'm Mady. I've been singing and tapping my little feet on stage since the fourth grade. I was born in Stockholm, Sweden and raised in Chicago where I poured my heart and soul into more than two dozen productions over nearly ten years. I learned from the directors that mentored me that I needed to work hard – dreams don’t come true on their own. Following my passion for live performance, I studied musical theatre in New York City, receiving my BFA from Marymount Manhattan College in 2024. New York City remains my home where I wake every day focused on my goal of bettering myself and seeking to contribute all of my energies to a team of talented performers and directors. I recognize the profound impact on me when I experience an amazing production as an audience member. It is from that lens that I draw my energy and focus as a performer. You will not find a more dedicated and hard-working professional performer.

Now, enough about theatre. Outside of my career, I love to be crafty - finding that it both sooths me and is a satisfying outlet of personal expression and creation. I find a surprising sense of accomplishment and satisfaction that comes from knitting, of all things, and I am always seeking to capture the people, the architecture and the soul of the city through my photography. As an avid fan of many types of music, each day I carefully select music that fits my mood as I put on my headphones and head out into the bustle of the city – pairing a personally curated soundtrack while taking in the city through my other senses allows me to feel the city, its people and this world how I want to feel it. At the same time, I also look forward to quiet moments when I can escape into a new novel that was recommended to me by my sister or a friend. Finally, while not up to the commitment that would come with having a pet, I am a dedicated mother to many thriving house plants. Hoping to someday have an outdoor garden – a girl can always dream!
